Hello and welcome to the City of Brodhead website! My family, the residents of Brodhead and I are excited that you came to learn more about our city.
The City of Brodhead is located in southern Wisconsin right in the middle of everywhere! Just a short commute from Brodhead are lots of attractions to see and enjoy. We have many parks, trails, waterways and other recreational activities right here in our hometown for all to visit and enjoy!
The City of Brodhead is a great place for families to make their home. We have excellent schools, two medical clinics, churches, a historic downtown, numerous civic organizations, beautiful parks featuring many summer activities and industry that includes the world headquarters of Kuhn North America, Stoughton Trailers and the world acclaimed Decatur Cheese Factory.
Whether it is spring, summer, fall or winter it seems that there is always some sort of celebration going on. Covered Bridge Days, Family Fest and the Fire and Ice celebrations bring many people to town to share in the beauty that is Brodhead. The Pearl Island Recreational Corridor offers biking and hiking along the trails, watersports activities and a big helping of nature for all who visit.
The Kelch Museum at our airport is a destination all in itself but when you add the Depot Museum downtown you can really get a feel of what Brodhead is all about. We have the Twilight in the Park concerts each Sunday during the summer just in case the rest of the activities didn’t make up your mind.
We invite you to come spend some time in our hometown. We have plenty of room for you to make it your hometown also! Our friendly staff and city officials are here to answer any questions you may have about our wonderful community.
