Q:  I would like to use a pavilion for a family reunion?
 
A:  
We can check availability of pavilions on a specified date over the telephone, but to reserve the pavilion, you will need to come to the Brodhead Parks & Recreation office to complete the Reservation Agreement form and pay the $25.00 fee. Reservations begin annually in January.

Q:  I am interested in working for the Brodhead Parks & Recreation Department?
 
A:  
The Brodhead Parks & Recreation accepts applications January through February for anyone 16 and over. Applications can be picked up at the park and recreation office.

Q:  Do you sell Discount Tickets to area attractions?
 
A:  
The Brodhead Parks and Recreation Department participates in the popular W.P.R.A. Discount Ticket Program. Tickets can be purchased at the swimming pool during open pool hours.

Q:  We missed the sign-up for Youth ball, can we still sign our children up?
 
A:  
The Brodhead Youth Ball Program offers summer leagues to boys and girls ages 5 year old Kindergarten on up.  Sign-up will take place the  entire month of February.  Stop down to City Hall and complete the packet and include payment.  Anyone who can not get to City Hall during office hours, may download the packet off the city website and and place it in the dropbox outside of City Hall with payment.  Leagues will be capped so register early to ensure your spot.  If space is available, anyone signing up after February will pay a $10 late fee.

Q:  Can we request a certain team or coach?
 
A:  
You can request, but there is no guarantee. To prevent teams from "stacking" or "loading up", requests may be denied. However parents wanting siblings on the same team will be granted.

Q:  Do you rent the swimming pool out?
 
A:  
Yes we do. Contact the swimming pool at 897.8091 when the pool opens and ask to speak to the pool manager. He/she will fill you in with the details providing available dates and costs.

Q:  Resident vs. Non-Resident Fees?
 
A:  
A resident is considered someone who lives in the city limits of Brodhead, whose taxes go to the city. A non-resident, also considers Brodhead their home, but lives outside the city limits and pays their taxes to a township.

Q:  When can I sign my child up for swimming lessons, tots on the run, t-ball or minor league?
 
A:  
The sign-up begins Tuesday, May 29th at the swimming pool. Lessons available on a first come/first serve basis until classes are filled.

Q:  What programs do you offer for preschool children (3-6 years old)?
 
A:  
We offer swim lessons, a Tots on the Run program which is held on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings and a T-ball program for children 4 - 6 years old on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. In the spring we offer a soccer program.

Q:  What programs do you offer for middle school age children (11-14 years old)?
 
A:  
We offer a variety of activities that include: Baseball, softball, Dodgeball, swim team and flag football.

Q:  I just moved to Brodhead, what programs do you offer for adults?
 
A:  
We offer summer and winter volleyball leagues, adult softball leagues, Pickleball; a combination of tennis, badminton and ping pong in one, Yoga and the public swimming pool. We have 30 + acres in parks to fish, canoe or walk. Brodhead is connected to the 23 mile Sugar River Bike and Snowmobile trail.

Q:  What programs do you offer for elementary age children, (7-10 years old)?

We offer baseball, softball, dodgeball, flag football, swim team, and spring soccer.
