A: Any resident of Wisconsin, excluding Milwaukee County, is eligible for a Brodhead library card.
Q: I live in Illinois, can I use the library?
A: Illinois resident may use the library, too. An annual fee of $50 is charged to check out materials.
Q: What do I need to do to get a library card?
A: A person needs to fill out an application and show an approved form of identification and proof of address. (See Library Policies for details.) Persons under 16 years old need a guardian to co-sign their form.
Q: Does the library do long-distance test proctoring?
A: Yes, just let the staff know, and the necessary papers will be filed.
Q: Is the library open Sunday?
A: No.
Q: Can I renew my books by phone?
A: Yes, and if you have home Internet, you can access your library account at www.linkcat.info with your library card number & your pin number.

A: Story time is offered most Fridays, from September to April. Check "Events" calendar for specifics.

A: LINKcat is the share online library catalog of over 40 libraries. It provides public access to reference databases. The system gives you access to over 3 million items and allows you to place holds and renew items from your home.
Q: Can I still donate to the New Library Project?
A: Yes, it is not to late to contribute to this project. There are still many items needed to finish the new library.

A: Yes. The library offers free wireless.
Q: Does the library have a meeting room?
A: Yes. It can accommodate up to 150 people. A form needs to be filled out by a library card holder in good standing to reserve the room.
