Computer Lab & Printer
The computer lab offers 6 Internet stations to the public. A laser printer is available to make black & white copies at $.25 a page or colored copies at $1 a page. Software includes Microsoft Office Suite.
Die Cut Machine
A die cut machine is available for public use. A complete set of alphabet dies are available and many other dies such as animal, insect, flowers, holiday, etc. For a complete listing, check the die catalog at the library.
Brodhead Newspapers are available on microfilm from 1859 to 1999. Original papers are available from 2000 to the present. The Florence Mauermann Behrens Local History Room offers both a microfiche reader as well as a microfilm reader/printer. Copies from the microfilm reader/printer are $.25 and in black & white.
A copy machine is available for public use. A fee of $.20 is charged for each side printed. A copy may be enlarged or shrunk. It prints in black & white only.
The Library offers the use of the Dr. Seth & Esther Cain Meeting Room to community groups. An application form (available at the Circulation Desk) is required to reserve the room. The community/program room is furnished with 100 chairs. Tables and a speaker stand are also available. The library is completely handicapped accessible. A walk-up kitchen bar offering a sink, microwave, and refrigerator are also available.
The room is intended primarily for the library’s own programs. When not needed by the library, the room may be used for: educational, informational, cultural, and government/civic activities, presentations, group discussions, workshops, and other similar functions by any Wisconsin library card holder in good standing. Small Study Room
The Small Study Room is available to individuals or small groups (numbering 6 or fewer). Users must sign in and out. Room may be reserved in advance.
Story time takes place at the library beginning at 10 a.m. September - May.
Summer Library Reading Program
The VFW Room is available to individuals or small groups (numbering 10 or fewer). Users must sign in and out. Room may be reserved in advance.
Free WiFi is available throughout the library. No password is required. For security reasons, WiFi does not connect to our printers.
