Audit/Finance Committee Member Sought:

The City of Brodhead is seeking a member for the Audit/Finance Committee.  In general, committees advise their local governing body on fiscal policies and compliance to generally accepted accounting standards.  The City is audited annually.  The City employs a Clerk-Treasurer who provides information and seeks guidance from Committee members on fiscal matters related to the City, such a debt service, budgets, fees review, bills to be paid, and other financial matters.  The Audit/Finance Committee meets once a month on the third (3rd) Wednesday of each month at 4:30 p.m. in our Senior Center.  If interested, please contact City Clerk Roseann Meixelsperger at 608-897-4018 Ext. 150 for more information.  Thank you for your consideration.

Personnel Committee Member Sought:

The City of Brodhead is seeking a member for the Personnel Committee.  In general, the personnel committee works on human resource issues for City personnel, negotiates union contracts, monitors and implements insurance for both employees and City assets, reviewes employee evaluations and recommends policies and practices for City management.

Plan Commission Member Sought:


The City of Brodhead is seeking a member for the Plan Commission.  In general, plan commissions advise their local governing body on comprehensive planning and land use issues and may make related decisions that are delegated by the governing body.  A primary rold of the commission is to prepare and assist the governing body in implementation of a comprehensive plan, providing leadership and insight into opportunities and challenges that confront the community.  The Plan Commission meets once a month, the first Monday of each month, at 7 p.m. at City Hall.  If interested, please contact City Clerk Roseann Meixelsperger at 608-897-4018 Ext. 150 for more information.  Thank you for your consideration.


Brodhead Schools Volunteers Sought:

The Brodhead Schools need volunteers for many different activities including but not limited to reading tutoring, homework help, supervision, and math tutoring.  Volunteers will find a role to fit almost any schedule and any age group they prefer!  To get more information call:
